Don't You Deserve Your Best Life?

As a successful businesswoman with a seemingly glittering career, you have always put on a brave face to the world. You have worked hard to create a life that looks shiny and perfect from the outside.

But your inner world is very different. You grew up with a parent who struggled with mental health illness like depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia. Even as an adult, you never learned how to process that trauma. But what people don't see is the inner struggle you deal with on a daily basis.

Do you still ask yourself any of those questions until today?

Why me?

Why do I feel rage, anger, and resentment?

Why do I suffer from low self-esteem and self-trust?

Why am I stuck in the same old patterns?

Why do I feel lonely and have difficulties to connect?

Why do I feel anxiety, fear, despair, and depression?

Why do I feel guilty because I think it’s my fault?

Why do I feel ashamed, embarrassed, and stigmatized?

Why do my memories not fade?

Why do I feel like I lost myself?

Yes, I Deserve To Live My Best Life Now!

What Is Mental Health Coaching?

Mental health concerns are often stigmatized in the society. Mental health coaching is a relatively new and growing development within the field of life coaching and is considered as the most advanced and in-depth coaching model. Mental health coaches are able to dig deeper into transformative inner work with clients using Inner Dynamics (parts psychology), NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and life coaching tools. They guide the clients through a profound and very deep emotional transformation they need to overcome their non-clinical mental health concerns and to achieve optimal mental health.

Mental health coaching is a form of coaching that focuses on helping individuals with non-clinical mental health issues transform their lives. Like other forms of coaching or life coaching, mental health coaches work with their clients to help them identify and achieve their goals. However, unlike a life coach, mental wellness coach or health coach, the coaching business of mental health coaches has a clear difference.

Mental health coaches are specifically trained to provide support for those dealing with non-clinical mental health difficulties such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, troubling memories or traumatic experiences.

If you are struggling with any of these issues, or if you simply want to improve your overall mental well-being, a mental health coach may be right for you. Mental health coaching can help you learn how to cope with difficult emotions, develop healthy coping mechanisms, set boundaries, and build self-confidence. It can equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to maintain good mental health in the long term and to find a renewed life purpose and life goals.

Mental health coaching should be provided by an experienced mental health professional who has undergone intensive mental health coach training.

What Is The Difference Between Life Coaching, Mental Health Coaching And Counselling?

Life coaches work with clients on more general issues related to goal setting, self care, career resources, accountability, and strategies for success. Often a life coach works with his clients on motivation, personal relationships, relationship challenges as well as work life balance issues through reflective listening, positive affirmations, positive psychology and motivational interviewing.

Mental health coaching is a coaching process that helps people with mental health issues to manage the inner dynamics of their lives in order to live more productive and satisfying lives. It is distinct from therapy or counselling in that it focuses on non-clinical mental health concerns. Mental health coaches work with clients on a wide range of issues, including non-clinical depression, stress management, life transitions, while still being able for a day to day functioning.

While some of these mental health concerns like clinical eating disorders, major depressive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder may also be addressed in therapy, counseling and clinical treatment by a specially trained therapist, the focus of mental health coaching is typically geared towards helping people identify and overcome mental health concerns. For example, a client may want to learn how to better manage their anxiety in order to reduce stress and increase productivity.

In contrast, someone with a clinical diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder would likely receive medical treatment from a therapist or psychologist that focuses on managing the symptoms of their disorder.

As such, one of the key ways to tell the difference between a clinical therapy and counselling and mental health coaching is whether the focus is on managing symptoms of mental illnesses or overcoming non-clinical mental health concerns.

What Is The Inner Dynamics Model?

The Inner Dynamics Model is one of the most effective tools in mental health coaching that can be used to explore and transform the inner conflict that often leads to feeling stuck or overwhelmed. By inner dynamics, we mean how you relate to the various parts of your personality.

The concept that we all have different aspects, or parts, of ourselves has been a commonly accepted fact for thousands of years dating back to the ancient Greeks. The book Subpersonalities features a fascinating history of inner dynamics dating back to ancient Rome.

However, it was not until the early 1900s that psychologists began to study this phenomenon in depth to understand the inner workings of these different parts and how they can impact our mental health.

Philosophers and psychologists have been handily referring to different parts of our overall identity, most notably Sigmund Freud. His concept of the Id, Ego, and Superego is one among many examples of inner dynamics.

Jung’s archetypes and John Bradshaw’s inner child are other well-known examples of parts or inner dynamics models. In more recent years, there has been a surge in interest in inner child work, as this type of mental health therapy can help people to heal childhood wounds and address current issues that may stem from those wounds.

Mental health coaching also often focuses on inner child work, as it can be an extremely effective way to promote growth and healing. If you are interested in exploring your inner world, a mental health coach can help you to identify and work with your inner dynamics in order to promote greater wellbeing.

The Inner Dynamics Model is based on the premise that we all have two main aspects of our personality: the vulnerable part and the protector part. Often times, these two parts are in conflict with one another, which can lead to feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Luckily, the Inner Dynamics tools give us a way to heal these inner conflicts and live a more fulfilling life. Mental health coaches like Dr. Margit with her expertise in Inner Dynamics work and tools will guide her clients to understand and embrace their innermost selves during the coaching session.

This mental health coaching can be incredibly transformative, giving people a greater sense of peace and satisfaction with their lives.

Let Go Of Guilt And Stigma

It is said that to truly forgive, one must first forgive themselves. In order to move on from the past, it is essential to let go of any feelings of guilt or shame. However, this can be easier said than done. Guilt and stigma can be crippling, preventing us from living our best lives.

But it is possible to overcome these obstacles by creating a new understanding of ourselves. When we let go of the negative associations we have with our past, we open up the possibility for a new and stronger self. We can then start to bring happiness in our lives by setting positive intentions and taking action towards our goals.

By forgiving ourselves, we open the door to a life filled with joy and happiness.
